Commercial description: It belongs to the Vigna unguiculata L species. It is a soft and nice flavor cream- colored seed with a black eye. Rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fiber, minerals and vitamins. It is produced throughout the northern coast of Peru; after it is harvested it is disinfected and then classified, calibrated and packed for export. The whole process is carried out under an adequate quality and sanitary control.
