Commercial description: It belongs to the Zea mays L species. It is a yellow – cream, large grain, with circular flan shape. Rich in proteins, starches and sugars. It is produced in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Urubamba, Cusco - Peru. After it is harvested, it is disinfected and then washed and scrubbed with a special mechanism, to take its skin off. Finally it is dried, classified, calibrated and packed for export. The whole process is carried out under an adequate quality and sanitary control.
